Copenhagen Architecture Forum, Exhibition opens 6th March 2025

From March 6th, Djernes & Bell will take over our window gallery at Halmtorvet 27, showcasing their work on the Hedeskov Center for Regenerative Practice - a project rooted in repair and transformation.

Hedeskov transforms a former rural school in Djursland as a Center for Regenerative Practice, integrating local materials, traditional craftsmanship, and ecological methods. Djernes & Bell’s approach challenges conventional architectural narratives, prioritising maintenance and adaptation over demolition and new construction. Their cross-disciplinary design works with the existing building and landscape surrounding Hedeskov - moraine clays, typha fiber, and timber - while engaging geologists, craftsmen, scientists, and anthropologists in a process of rethinking how we build in a fragile world.
