City House,
Nearing completion

The transformation of a Victorian semi-detatched and previously altered home in Cape Town is nearing completion. The previous owner (an architect) had drastically altered this historic home. The renovation has involved mostly ‘making-good’ and repair, reinstating historic rooms but also allowing the story of the house’s previous owner to form part of the new narrative. Most of the new timber additions have been formed using hard-wood salvaged from the building.
