Planning Permission Received

Djernes & Bell have secured planning permission for the second extension to a family dwelling at the foot of Table Mountain in Cape Town.  This simple yet sculptural extension takes the quarried granite surfaces close to the site and the extreme southern sun as refernce points for a project in insitu concrete and natural stone. Large sculptural light-wells filter the light and create a private cave-like space for the rituals of bathing.
