Hedeskov Center for Life Science

We have been appointed to transform Hedeskov School into a centre and innovative hub for sustainable thinking, research and knowledge sharing. Based on the owners history in regnerative and restorative agriculture we will focus on low-carbon restoration and retrofit as well and connection between building, materials and ecosystem.

Hedeskov Center for Life Science is a privately owned initiative. It grew out of a dream of living in and with nature, and of creating an innovative hub for sustainable thinking, research and knowledge sharing – a place devoted to furthering sustainable projects and raising awareness of activities that capture CO2 and reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.

In Denmark the agricultural sector accounts for 20-30% of total CO2 emissions. HCLS buys up conventionally farmed agricultural land, plants trees and runs nature conservation projects as our way of making a difference. HCLS facilities and activities are open to individual citizens as well as technical experts.
