Copenhagen Architecture Biennale 2025, launch of theme Slow Down

Justine Bell was invited to reflect on the newly announced theme for Copenhagen Architecture Biennale 2025 ‘Slow Down’ happening September 18 – October 19, 2025. Under the theme Slow Down, the biennial invites reflection on deceleration in architecture and society, exploring long-term sustainability, intergenerational justice, and the role of care in design.

Justine contributed with a short talk entitled ‘Geo-Empathic Time Travel’. The other contributors were Copenhagen city architect Lars Jensen, artist Jacob Kirkegaard and thinker Steen Næpper Larsen as well as Josephine Michau & Søren Nørkjær Bang from CAFx.
