Blandt åbne marker, våde åløb og tæt skov ligger et nyere bindingsværkshus, som skal transformeres til et andeledes familiehjem I tæt kontakt med de omkringliggende landskaber samt årets rytmer.

Djernes & Bell har skitseret en om- og tilbygning af landejendommen på dette sted, hvor fokus er på ’Jordbrug og Jordbo’ samt at opbygge en dyb forbindelse med stedet, naturen, jorden og materialer. Tektonisk og rummeligt skubber projektet derfor til grænsen af det gængse for at opnå et mere stmeningsmættet interiør, der følger, dagen, året samt andre planetære cyklusser. Skitseforslag var udviklet i tæt samarbejdet med kunsthåndværkere/ agronom bygherre par med stor fokus på minimale ændringer af det eksisterende. 

Among open fields, streams, and dense forests lies a newer timber-framed house that is to be transformed into a n alternative family hhome deeply connected to the surrounding landscapes and the rhythms of the seasons.

Djernes & Bell have sketched a renovation and extension of the rural property at this location, focusing on 'Farming and Living' and building a deep connection with the place, nature, soil, and materials. Therefore, the project pushes the boundaries of the conventional to achieve a more meaningful interior that follows the day, the year, and other planetary cycles. The sketch proposal was developed in close dialogue with the craftsperson/ farmer/agronomist client with focus on minimal changes to the existing building.
