En ny tagtilbygning tager sit afsæt i det oprindelige funkishus, opført i 1933, og lader sig samtidig inspirere af andre tidstypiske eksempler fra ind- og udland. Den nye tilbygning har samme flade tag, samme udhæng samt farver og stemninger, som det oprindelige hus, mens den grønne farve på vinduer og døre refererer til stilhistoriske eksempler fra husets samtid. Hjørnevinduet fejres som et gennemgående arkitektonisk karaktertræk i funkishuse, og får her selskab af et markant rundt vindue, en reference til modernistiske kompositioner.

Af hensyn til ind- og udsyn trækker bygningen sig tilbage mod vejen samt på siderne af huset, og af samme hensyn placeres vinduer med respekt for de omkringliggende nabohuse. Projektet afventer i skrivende stund myndighedsgodkendelse.

A new roof extension takes its cue from the original functionalist house, built in 1933, while also drawing inspiration from other typical examples from both home and abroad. The new extension features the same flat roof, overhangs, colors, and atmosphere as the original house, while the green color on windows and doors refer to stylistic examples from the house's era. The corner window is celebrated as a recurring architectural feature in functionalist houses, and here it is accompanied by a prominent round window, a nod to modernist compositions.

For privacy and views, the building recedes towards the road and the sides of the house, and windows are positioned with consideration for the surrounding neighboring houses. At present, the project awaits approval from the authorities.
