Harvest to House Protoype,

Vrå, Southern Jutland, 2022

Harvest to House is a cross-disciplinary initative that investigates the overlap between agriculture, building materials, landscape culture and craft. The first seminar was held in November 2022 were farmers, thatchers, architects, artists and geographers met in an immersive weekend focussed on thatching materials and place. This thatched wall was the resulting artefact, it is intewiven onto the existing structure of the ‘alchemist’ room at ORBI union’s converted barn.

Harvest to House is a collaboartion between Djernes & Bell, Local Works Studio, agronomist Janne Dinesen & artist Nicholas Brooks. It is the beginning of a long experimental project.

The film will be screen as part of CAFx lifeforms
